I performed with these guys last night for the city of Nanaimo’s Finale New Years Show. It was a pleasure. These guys rock! Marty and Kyle are true performing artists. Super entertainment. I really look forward to collaborating with these guys in the very near future…

I was down at the Nanaimo harbourfront tonight, delivering our nautical creations to the Newfoundland to Nanaimo gift shop. I was about to go home when I heard the most captivating music. I stopped and parked my jeep close to where the two men were playing and knew I could NOT go home! It was a father/son duo and once I sat down to listen, I could NOT leave. I was the most entertained I have been in a long, long time and I kept giving them money so I wouldn’t feel guilty about staying so long. They were worth every dollar!
‘The Big Mess is one class act – the music was fabulous and Kyle is such an incredibly dynamic and FUNNY entertainer! And his dad plays a mean trumpet! Wow. I bought their CD and it made my ride home such a treat. I hope to hear them live again sometime. Thank you Kyle and Marty for making my evening so magical! I came there all stressed out and overwhelmed…. I left feeling fulfilled, peaceful, happy and re-energized. You were just what I needed tonight! Thank you for blessing me with your gift of music!
